The Datum


What if I used the nouns, verbs and adjectives from the previous post to design a building? Furthermore, how would the expression of these words change for structures above and below the ground? Consider the following sketches:

In brief, the below ground structures are always considerably heavier and more constricted than their above ground counterparts, which is to be expected. 

As an aside, the exercise appears to have confirmed my mental association of the term avant-garde with googie architecture, along with my inability to consistently spell the former.
